It’s safe to say, we were immediately excited about the prospect of working with Visit Wicklow, the County’s official tourism board. We know the county inside out - from the beaches to the mountain tops, the history of rebels running through the Wicklow hills, the bustling towns, and businesses, of which we’re one.
The ask from Visit Wicklow was simple: “do our social”. A broad brief, but one that was delivered to us with a huge amount of trust and the creative freedom to generate results. We soaked up all the existing collateral, we truffled out the local, niche talking points, we created a consistent formula for our creative approach, and we got to work with steady implementation. People naturally want to engage with a place as remarkable as Wicklow. We realised quickly that listening to our audience would be key to our success. So that’s what we did.
Every month, we reviewed wins and learnings over a 90-day period and fed them back into the strategy. This resulted in viral content getting picked up by publications globally, being inundated with requests for collaboration and a completely organic audience growth. It led to us hitting real, important KPIs like Saves, Shares, DMs, and website taps. Ensuring our content exists for the longest possible time on social instead of being a flash in the pan. Driving up sales of the Wicklow passport to 50% more than what was sold to last year.
Our work with Visit Wicklow has firmly established the brand as THE trusted voice on County Wicklow tourism. We’ve created a platform where visuals, voice, and analytics are fully aligned. We’ve developed a calm, directional brand presence that not only inspires curiosity but measurably converts it into real visits and deeper connections to Wicklow.
Extremely professional team, with tremendous expertise and very creative; Good as Gold helped structure our online communication, defining clear objectives and maximising opportunities by adapting content to suit each social media channel. The team offers monthly in-depth reports with constant learning from activities.
