The golden girls

Well not quite golden just yet... Good as Gold was established back in 2015 by founders; Danielle O'Connell and Lauren Higgs. The two came together over a passion for excellent client relationships, transparency and creativity. They have spent the past number of years working with a wide range of clients in all sorts of industries - from fashion and beauty to food and venues. In 2016, Good as Gold were listed in the Sunday Business Post’s top 100 start-ups and over the past two years, have worked with a range of upcoming and exciting Irish businesses. In Sept 2017, Higgs and O’Connell co-hosted the first Founder Friday in their native Greystones, a monthly initiative sponsored by Bank of Ireland, where they live audience interview industry leaders and entrepreneurs. They’re looking forward to continuing this event every month, encouraging and engaging local business people, start-ups and tech-enthusiasts. 
Good as Gold work with a team and network of like-minded designers, developers and strategists.


Danielle O'Connell, Design

Danielle's background in User Experience and User Interface Design has afforder her the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients, design teams and developers. Danielle has worked on projects for government bodies as well as commercial and corporate projects such as Lead Product Designer for the Safefood App, Raven App and a number of international E-Commerce platforms. Her product Designs have been twice commended by Apple. Danielle's is passionate about creating meaningful experiences through design and content. Danielle has acted as visiting Lecturer for Design for Screen in IADT since 2015 and continues to do so. Danielle has given talks in The Science Museum and Dribbble Dublin, Zendesk on the value of User-centered design and the need to move away from screen-centered UI Design. 


Lauren Higgs, Strategy

Lauren has over six years’ experience in the digital industry, having started her digital career working for one of the world’s largest online publications; MailOnline. Here, she helped build and develop the Irish digital advertising department from sales and strategy to heading up the Ad Operations team for both MailOnline Ireland and She also worked closely with the MailTV department for a number of years as a presenter for both editorial and commercial shoots. In 2015, Lauren left DMG Media to start Good as Gold.
